Career seekers can use their library card to access library databases. Gain access from the office, library, home, or wherever you have internet access.

The Hillsboro City Library has eight (8) computers with internet access available for adult use. Four (4) computers are located on the main floor of the library. The remaining four (4) computers are located on the top floor. Adult computers are available on a first come first serve basis for 90 minutes each day. If you need to make a reservation for a computer please do so at the print station using the PCReservation function.

If you're new to computers, haven't used one for a while, are a little unsure, or just need a bit of a refresher... DigitalLearn has the tools to help you tackle technology at your own pace and gain the confidence you need to succeed! Courses range from 6 to 40 minutes and cover topics in various areas, including basic computer skills, social sites, online safety, job skills, and productivity.

Chess Club takes place at the library every Monday from 4:30 - 6:00 PM and is open to all ages. We have several chess boards for use, but attendees can bring their own board as well. Find a spot in the library to sit down and play!

Get one-on-one technology help from a librarian every Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 - 5:00 PM! Bring your own device or use one of the library's computers.

Our knitting and crocheting group meets from 10-11am every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month on the 2nd floor of the library. All skill levels are welcome, and there will be an expert on hand to offer instruction, when needed. Supplies will be available, or you can bring your own.
