The Hillsboro City Library recently received a grant through the Association of Small and Rural Libraries (ARSL), in partnership with the Simons Foundation as part of its “Infinite Sums” initiative. The funds from the grant are intended for math programming centering around Pi Day (March 14th), Infinity Day (August 8th), and Fibonacci Day (November 23rd), to broaden the understanding of what math is and who it’s for.
